The Alhambra Palace, so called for its red coloured walls, is situated at the top of the al-Sabika hill, to the East of Granada.
The Generalife Gardens were built in terraces on the slopes of the Cerro del Sol, the hill which lies opposite to the Sabika hill.
From the Gardens, there is a magnificent view of the whole area: the Albayzín, the Alhambra, and over to the Sierra Nevada. One of the real wonders of Andalucia!
